(net)art is (net)art...  why not accept it for what it is, otherwise you may as well criticise the first cave paintings for their lack of detail and compositional complexity (and http accessability) ?

the only thing that will equal the old mailing lists is the old mailing lists... 

the medium serves the message... don't shoot the message carrier... web art is "virtual" and far surpasses what the written word alone can do. 

a single picture says a thousand words... a movie can contain a million pictures, a virtual world can contain anything and everything (virtually).
